My names Kelly, I’m 42yrs old from Aylesbury

I’m a hairdresser and Married Mum of 3 daughters.

I’ve decided to give myself a challenge this year.. I’m swimming the English Channel from Boscombe pier to Bournemouth pier in there annual Pier to Pier open water swim event 🌊.

My chosen charity is The Cancer care and Haematology unit . Aylesbury

This wonderful unit has helped so many people that are being treated for cancer including my best friend Sarah who is now a breast cancer survivor 💪🏼🩷 The Wooden spoon unit in Stoke mandeville hospital are Exceptional in there Care, compassion and kindness and empathy but it was noticeable that there are no iPads, tablets, tvs, headphones, books . whilst having chemo your sat for hours some people are all alone their chemo time would go by quicker with access to movies, books and music 🎵

I’m also part of the 🎱 Aylesbury Invitation pool league this charity is also our chosen fundraiser for 2024 do with all the pool charity events happening this year and my swim together we can make a difference for our community.

It’s sad to say but everyone has now been affected by cancer whether it be personally or friends, family etc…

I hope you can give me the support and courage to do this by making it worth while.
