Story
I am raising money in memory of my husband Mathew, aged 43 diagnosed in January 2025 with throat Cancer and died boxing day 2025 with myself, his family and our 2 beautiful daughters Skye 8 and Elyssa 3 (2 when he passed) who was with him till the end. Trinity hospice was like a second home for me and my family. They were there during my husband's cancer treatments visiting him regularly at home then the hospice care team who cared for him and us till the end. You truelly do not understand how important trinity hospice and Brian house are until you need them! They are solely funded by the public and dont have enough funding to help enough people, when we was there we was told by a friend it is hard to get a bed but when we was there there was only half the hospice being used, I later found out that's because they dont have enough funding to fill the beds. It brakes my heart people are missing out on this care 💔 they truelly make it possible to be with our loved ones without the stressful environment and give our loved one the dignity they deserve. let's help them help more people like my amazing husband Mat ❤️
