Story
On May 2nd, 2026, I will be participating in “The National Three Peaks Challenge”. I will climb the 3 tallest mountains in the UK (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon) all in 24 hours.
I will be raising money for Young Lives vs Cancer. In January of last year my little cousin, Lachy, was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive form of bone cancer called Ewing Sarcoma. Lachy spent endless months in hospital enduring 14 rounds of chemotherapy, 30 rounds of radiotherapy and multiple illnesses along the way. Seeing first hand the effect this had on him & our family has given me the drive to want to give back.
Young Lives vs Cancer Scotland provides tailored, 360-degree support to children and young people (0-25) with cancer and their families across Scotland. They offer specialist social workers, free "Homes from Home" near hospitals, financial grants for costs, and emotional support to help manage the, practical, and financial, impacts of a cancer diagnosis.
Together, we can face it all – but we can’t do it without your support. Please consider donating to help us continue our mission of supporting families affected by cancer. To find out more about our work and how you can help, visit www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk.
