As most of you know, my brother-in-law Ian was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in March 2024. His life has been turned upside down and at the moment he’s undergoing treatment to try and beat this. Unfortunately the first stage of treatment (chemo and stem cell transplant) didn’t have the impact we hoped it would, so he’s now undergoing a clinical trial in the hope that it will make a difference.

Currently there is no cure for myeloma and it’s so hard watching someone you love go through this.

I’m raising money for Myeloma UK to help Ian and the thousands like him and hopefully to find a cure.

I said I’d never ever run another marathon but Myeloma UK means so much to us as a family and this is my way of giving back xx
