Story

On the 21st April 2024, I will be running my first ever Marathon, The London Marathon.

My aim is raise as much awareness and money to donate to this small, independent charity, who rely on funding towards research and supporting the families affected by Cystinosis. This small charity is close to our hearts, in memory of my close friends Danny & Sue’s son Jack.

I have set out to raise money for this charity for a long time, entering the ballot for the last 14 years, and feel privileged to have finally been entered, and also very pleased I get to honour my promise I made to Danny all them years ago.

So far the training is going well, I’m following a good training plan which should put me in a good position when the big day finally arrives, 10 weeks and counting!

Would appreciate any support you could offer along the way.
