Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My journey starts back in November 2023 when I started the couch to 5k after being challenged to take up a physical activity. Running is something I would never have considered but amazingly it has grown on me and I am now working towards running a half marathon on 20th April 2024.

My training regime will fall short of a half marathon distance, but this is something that I will endeavour to complete as Jamie Snarski is working hard to train for his 6-6-1 and my training regime is nothing compared to his, so therefore I will complete this challenge whether I run the whole distance, run and walk or finish on my hands and knees.

My husband back in 2019 was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, therefore I want to support Positively Parkinson's which helps people who are diagnosed with this condition to live a positive life after diagnosis.
