Story
In October 2022 my beautiful best friend Kelly Baker was killed in a hit and run.
Leaving behind her loving husband Steve and their young son. Along with so many friends and of course Kels family, who had already faced so much tragedy losing their dad to cancer and her 16 year old niece to meningitis.
Kelly would always go above and beyond supporting other people, ensuring everyone else was happy, and as a family they have raised huge amounts of money for charities close to their heart.
Last year Nigel and I completed the Brighton marathon in Kels memory raising funds for The Roads Victim’s Trust who after Kel’s death, offered invaluable to support to Kelly’s family and provided much needed guidance and advice through this heart breaking time.
In April 2025 myself, Nigel and Kel’s husband Steve will take on the challenge again. Navigating the windy seafront of Brighton in an attempt to raise as much money as possible for such a fantastic charity.
We are very aware that so many of you were incredibly generous last year and we know times are hard but if anyone can spare a little to help to ensure families who are faced with such horrendous news have someone trained and able to support them through the worst time of their lives.
Thank you so much
