Every year I complete a challenge to raise money for the amazing charity which is the Christie. I think it’s fair to say this next challenge is my biggest/hardest yet. Next year, in June, I will be hiking to the summit of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa at 4167m / 13,671ft.

The Christie is one of Europe’s leading cancer centres, providing comprehensive cancer care, research and education. Most importantly to my family and I, it is the place which continues to look after my dad.

Thanks to the Christie, we have made over 10 more years of memories with dad with more memories to be made. Thanks to the Christie my dad was able to be there whilst I graduated, he has been able to see me start my dream job and we have watched Wigan play (and win!) together more time than I can count - just a few of the moments that I will cherish forever❤️

I cannot think of a more deserving charity to raise money for.
