Holly and I are taking on one of Dundee's most exciting new challenges – the Discovery Mast Climb!

We'll be scaling the towering 82ft foremast of Captain Scott's famous Antarctic exploration ship, testing our nerves, embracing the adventure, and taking in incredible views across the River Tay before making our way back down by abseil or zipline. It's an epic challenge that gives a glimpse into the conditions and courage of the crew who once sailed aboard this legendary vessel.

But we're not doing it just for the thrill.

We're climbing to raise vital funds for The Archie Foundation Tayside, helping local children and families facing some of life's toughest moments. Every donation will help create child-friendly environments in hospitals and healthcare settings, providing comfort, distraction and reassurance when children need medical care. Funds will also support specialist bereavement services, helping children and young people navigate the death of someone important in their lives.
