Story
I have been accepted to represent and raise money for Clatterbridge Cancer centre by completing the 2026 London Marathon. First of all, I'm not a runner the furthest charity run I have done is 3.5k so better start this training 😅
Clatterbridge gave second to none care for my dad when he was diagnosed with Lung Cancer in 2022. We sadly lost my dad just 6 months after diagnosis, Clatterbridge made the worst time in my families life that much more comfortable from the physical care to the emotional. This is just a little way I can help give back.
Clatterbridge provided a safe/ comfortable space for me and my family during the most upsetting time in our lives. They also gave us space and time whilst we waited for family to travel from down South never making us feel like we were just a number.
Most of you know that my Dad was a huge part of my life, introducing me to my favourite music, letting me join him and mum at some of the best festivals and simply enjoying our 3 man parties in the living room.
So between now and April I will be trying to raise as much money as possible through events and other activities.
First of all I have planned to shave my hair (this will be donated to the little princess Foundation) on new years day. New Year, no hair. My dad woupd have just rolled his eyes as he always did when i got my hair cut as he envied my long hair.

Anything you can give, even if it's just running tips will be greatly appreciated.
