Story
On 3rd May, I’ll be setting off to Spain to walk the Camino de Santiago - the “Way of St James”.
I’ll be walking 101km along the Portuguese route from Vigo to Santiago de Compostela, finishing at the beautiful Basilica of Santiago, where lies the tomb of St James.
This pilgrimage is a personal goal, a year in the making, but I’m dedicating it to my Grandad Sid, who passed away last September.
In his final days, Shipston Home Nursing cared for him with such kindness, dignity and compassion. They made a difficult time that little bit easier for our family. We really can’t thank them enough. So, I’d love to use this challenge to give something back to them. If you’re able to donate—no matter how big or small—it would mean so much, and it will help them continue supporting other families when they need it most.
Thank you so much for your support ❤️
Buen Camino!
Shipston Home Nursing is a hospice at home charity, caring for terminally ill people who wish to be nursed at home. The service is run by a team of qualified nurses specialising in palliative care. Our nurses and healthcare assistants look after the patient, their family and those important to them, for the time required, in their own homes. We cover Shipston, Wellesbourne, Kineton and surrounding villages.
