For those who know me, you’ll already know that my family and myself lost our Mum, Daughter, Sister, Auntie and beloved friend very suddenly just under two years ago. There isn’t a day that goes by that we don’t remember our mamabear. I want to spread awareness of a devastating disease that could affect anyone, at anytime. My mum was the kindest, most vibrant and warm person that you could ever hope to meet. Mum left a lasting impression on anyone she spoke with and had an open door policy to any one needing a brew or a hug. I couldn’t have asked for a better role model or loving mother growing up and I owe who I am today to my loving, strong and colourful mum. My mum never had a lot, but what she did have, she would give without a thought. I’m asking you to be a little bit like my mum and give what you can to raise awareness for something no one ever talks about or hears about, or even if it’s just because you want to see me get battered inside a boxing ring.
