Two years ago, I ticked skydiving off my bucket list. When my husband surprised me with a WingWalking experience for Christmas, I was excited to take on another challenge and make another unforgettable memory.

In September 2025, I found a lump. After weeks of appointments, tests, scans, and uncertainty, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer on 30th October 2025 at just 38 years old.

Since then, my life has been filled with hospital appointments, surgery, radiotherapy, scans, medication, and ongoing injections. There have been days filled with fear, tears, exhaustion, and uncertainty. Cancer doesn’t just affect your body; it affects every part of your life. Even now, it’s something that never truly leaves your mind.

As a mum, a wife, and the owner of a cupcake business that I have poured my heart into, one of the hardest parts was having to step back when treatment took its toll. There were times when I simply couldn’t bake, and I worried about letting people down.

Through it all, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have the unwavering support of my husband and our two daughters, who have been my strength on the hardest days and my reason to keep pushing forward. I’m also so grateful to every single person who has supported me and my business throughout this journey. Whether you’ve placed an order, shared my posts, checked in on me, or simply been there when I needed encouragement, you’ve helped keep both me and my business going when I needed it most.

That’s why, on Saturday 29th August 2026, I’ll be taking to the skies and completing a Wing Walk to raise money for Breast Cancer Now.

I’m not doing this because I’m fearless. I’m doing it because breast cancer taught me that life is too precious to let fear hold you back.

When I step out onto the wing of that plane, I’ll be carrying more than just nerves. I’ll be carrying every appointment, every scan, every treatment, every setback, every small victory, and every person who has supported me through this journey.

Breast Cancer Now provides vital support for people affected by breast cancer and funds life-changing research that gives hope to so many families facing this disease.

If my experience has taught me anything, it’s that life can change in an instant. Tomorrow is never promised, and every day is precious.
