I'm lacing up my boots (and saying a small prayer for my weak ankles) to take on a charity hike up the stunning and steep Blencathra in the Lake District, as part of Accenture's H&PS Who Dares Wins challenge 2026.

While the outdoors lover in me is excited to tackle the big hills in the July heat (and the inevitable blisters), my reason for doing this genuinely matters beyond that.

I'm fundraising for Tommy's — an incredible charity dedicated to preventing baby loss and making pregnancy safer for everyone. They fund vital research, provide life-changing support for families going through the unimaginable, and work tirelessly to ensure fewer people face pregnancy complications alone.

Every penny you donate goes towards supporting their mission — and will give me that extra push to keep going when the heat, hunger, and exhaustion start to take over.
