I would like to give back to Barnsley Hospital especially the chemotherapy unit for helping my mum through her treatment. I supported my mum through her second cycle of chemotherapy and I found the nurses and staff kind , supportive and caring not only to my mum but to me. My mum being diagnosed with breast cancer has made me feel scared, anxious, worried and upset which has made it even harder as I love her so much. It has been hard seeing my mum with no hair because she hasn't looked like my mum. My mum has been very brave making me proud to say she is my mum. So for Barnsley Hospital Charity in January (after my mums last chemotherapy session) I will be shaving my head so me and my mum will look like 2 little eggs together.
