The maize harvest will take place at the end of this month and this is the best time to buy this staple food. We hope to have funds for Kondanani to buy enough maize to fee the children for the next year, and to buy other staples if possible, such as dried soya protein and dried peas. There are two shipping containers at Kondanani that can be used to safely store the dried food. One of the containers was sent by Kondanani UK to Malawi a couple of years ago full of donations for the children and the Esther Meyer Memorial hospital. It is great to see that it is continuing to be useful!
