Hurly Burly 2024 · 21 September 2024 ·

Set in North Wales on the edge of Snowdonia, this is one of the most beautifully wild swims you’ll find. It starts on the sandy beach of Barmouth and takes place on a fast incoming tide that works like a bore to assist your swim.

Story

In my latest adventure, I am taking part in the Hurly Burly! This involves swimming 10km up an estuary in Snowdonia, with a tidal bore for assistance, it's going to be wild! Because that's not enough of a challenge(!) I am planning to run 11km to get to the start line too.

Whilst doing this I am raising money so children with disabilities can enjoy the water as much as I do.

Just £15 can change a life. Please support me in this epic challenge by donating.

Level Water use the power of swimming to improve lives for children with disabilities.

I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim and fall in love with the water.
