The 3 Peaks Challenge

As a celebration to end our exams, we wanted to challenge ourselves to the three peaks challenge; trekking three of the tallest mountains in the UK, Mt Snowden🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿, Scafell Pike🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and Ben Nevis🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, within 24 hours (yes, including driving and travelling times). The trek will start early on Saturday morning and end, hopefully within 24 hours.

All donations will be given straight to Prospect Burma which is our chosen charity as the situation in Burma has very little exposure and not much has been done to ensure the betterment of the living standards and eradication of the tyranny there.

Here’s a few words from Prospect Burma explaining the situation and what they do to aid:

The violence in Myanmar has caused outrage around the world. But behind the news pictures, even bigger poverty and health crises are growing as the country’s basic services collapse. Myanmar desperately lacks the skills capacity to tackle these crises.

But there is a way to help. Prospect Burma works to get young people into higher education abroad to gain the knowledge and skills needed, and then work together to give bespoke help to communities. Donations support items like visas, books, transport out of the country and tuition.
