This is the third year we’ve come together to host our charity football match, and each year it’s grown in both meaning and impact. What started as a small idea among friends has become a heartfelt annual event - bringing people together not just for a great game, but to raise money and awareness for Blood Cancer UK. This year, the match holds even deeper significance as we play in memory of Lisa Anderson, a much-loved mum, wife, friend, and part of our community, who sadly passed away a year ago. Lisa touched the lives of so many with her kindness, warmth, and strength, and this match is our way of honouring her memory and celebrating everything she stood for. The support we’ve received over the past two years has been incredible, and it continues to show just how powerful our community can be when we unite for a shared purpose.

This match isn’t just about football - it’s about honouring Lisa, supporting those affected, and doing our part to help beat Blood Cancer. This year’s event takes place on Saturday, 17th May 2025, which marks a year to the date of Mum’s funeral, making it all the more meaningful for everyone involved.
