Story
On Friday 3 October I am taking on the challenge of Boycott your Bed, sleeping out to help the children across the UK who go to bed every night feeling unsafe, cold, hopeless . I am raising vital funds for Action for Children.
4.5 million children now live in poverty in the UK. That’s 31% of all children. Tonight, many children will go to bed hungry. Struggle to sleep in a cold, damp house. And start the next day without a warm coat or shoes that fit. It’s relentless.
But it doesn’t have to be like this.
With every minute, every hour spent braving the elements – we could help Action for Children give a child warm clothes, hot meals and a proper bed
Please support me with raising vital funds and help more children have a safe and happy childhood. £50 could pay for new shoes for two children, £65 could help more children have a safe and happy childhood.
Childhood is precious. There isn’t long to get it right. But we can take action for children so they don't miss out.
