Kendra and DDP’s World Record Attempt

7-a-side Guinness World Record Attempt · 20 September 2024
The team at DDP, the Scottish division of RegaLead are a small close knit team. When we found out that Kendra, wife of longstanding employee James had been diagnosed with MND in June 2023, we knew that we had to do something.
Kendra is exuberant and full of life even in the shadow of this terrible disease. Initially it was believed Kendra may have suffered a stroke and cancer was a possibility, so we would like to highlight the need to seek medical insight and persevere for the correct diagnosis if you feel something is affecting your health.
We decided with Kendra's full support to raise money for MND Scotland.
The charity provides practical, financial and emotional support to people affected by MND. MND Scotland is the only Scottish charity providing care and support to people affected by Motor Neuron Disease, as well as funding research to take us a step closer to finding a cure.
A lot of James's colleagues are involved with and passionate about football.
While our national team don't often do very well, we thought that through football we could try to create a lasting legacy.
With your help we are going to attempt a WORLD RECORD of the most participants in a 7-a-side football exhibition over the weekend of 20th and 21st September.
What do we need: 10 minutes of your time for a match and a participation donation. All ages and abilities are welcome. If you don't want to play that's no problem, we are taking donations too.
We are very grateful to our sponsors, donors and participants, who without them this would not be possible.
We look forward to welcoming everyone to the event and raising as much money as possible for MND Scotland.
