Cycle Lands End to John o'Groats · 28 March 2025

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Thanks for visiting my page.

In honour of my mum, I will embark on a challenge taking her stubbornly determined trait with me cycling Lands End to John O’Groats in only 5 days raising money for the British Heart Foundation.

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target

I’ll ride the distance starting on March 28th finishing April 1st 2025 taking on Mother’s Day Sunday in a fitting tribute to mum pedal stroke by pedal stroke.

I’d love to invite anyone to join alongside me for a mile or more cycling together, perhaps you or someone you know has lost a loved one recently, then I’d love for you to join me in solidarity.

I have a few local radio station interviews planned, if you know someone who might want to connect, sponsor, support the challenge, run the story or perhaps even get me on TV. (Although I am told I have a voice for radio) please do put me in contact.

Nothing would give me greater pleasure than your support, please share this post with as many people as possible, the more money I can raise, the more lives the money can support with the help of the British Heart Foundation & the amazing research they do.

Thanks Ken
