Story
Our Pisa to Rome tour is a charity challenge event, travelling 290 miles and climbing 20,000ft. I'm paying all costs myself so any money donated goes straight to the charity. I'm cycling with a team I met in my first YLVC fundraiser.
Each mile covered, and story shared brings us closer to a future where children and young people facing cancer get the right support at the right time.
How your donations help:
£10 could re-stock the kitchen cupboards at a Home from Home
£26 could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker
£54 could fund 3 days worth of power at a Home from Home, ensuring families have the light and comfort they need
£100 could provide a financial grant for young people and families to cope with the immediate costs of cancer and meet additional expenses like travel, food or household bills so they can focus on getting through treatment.
£251 could cover a hardship grant for families who are struggling financially and faced with unexpected costs. A grant eases the financial burden so they can focus on being there for their child.
