On Saturday 13th July I will be running my first ever full Marathon to raise money for the MS Society. I have done the shorter runs and a half marathon so this seemed to be the next step!

My Dad was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in January 2021. My Grandad also lived with MS for many years. This is a charity very personal to me. Fundraising for the MS Society has brought about treatment options that help improve the quality of life. Though we are not yet near a cure it is a far better situation than seeing my Grandad have no treatments available to him.

I understand it is a big challenge ahead but one I am fully prepared to commit to. My aims are always to raise more awareness about MS and, hopefully, raise some funds to help this fantastic charity along the way.

Anyone who wants to join me for any runs or other training are always welcome. I appreciate the support massively. If it gets other people out and about that is always an added bonus!
