Story
In December 2018, our dear friend and colleague Kent Rhodes lost his brave fight against Cancer.
Kent was well known and respected for his abundance and challenging nature, so it seems fitting that we should do what we can to keep his spirit alive.
To honour Kent's life, each year the ActionCOACH UK community embarks on a challenge that reflects those traits, whilst doing as much as we can to help those less fortunate than ourselves.
This years challenge is the Cleveland Way Walk, where the majority will walk from Whitby to Scarborough (24 miles) and others will walk Robin Hoods Bay to Scarborough (17 miles). Both great distances!
For 35 years, Children with Cancer UK has funded much needed research into the causes of childhood cancers, and the development of better, kinder treatments as well as funding initiatives that support children and their families through cancer treatment and beyond.
Their work has contributed significantly to a marked increase in childhood cancer survival rates and improved quality of life for patients.
