Story

Boxing enthusiasts, supporters of disability sports...and chums,

Thanks every so much for visiting our JustGiving page, as we undertake the ultimate demonstration of a midlife crisis...for the second time!!

Kent 'Wow Hands' Gowland and Chris 'The Punching Penfold' Mounsey-Thear are donning the boxing gear and nine weeks of training to take part in a night of (very!) amateur boxing against, as yet, unknown opponents at that well-known mecca of sorting excellence...The Clapham Grand!

We are doing this to raise money for a wonderful small charity that punches well above its weight in providing grassroots disability sports opportunities for children and young adults across London.

To find out more about their incredible work, please feel free to visit their website: https://disabilitysportscoach.org.uk.

If however, your main interest in visiting this page is to donate some money just to see Kent and Mounsey get pummelled, then you have come to the right place!

Any donation is hugely appreciated, and will go towards a brilliant cause!

Cheers,

Kent and Mounsey

About the charity

We use the power of sport to enhance the lives of disabled people. Disabled people are twice as likely to be inactive as non-disabled people. Through our inclusive clubs, coaching sessions in schools and expert-led training, we break down barriers to sport for 5,000 disabled people each year.
