KENT Coastline 300+ KM running challenge

We provide support to men and women who have served in the armed services or their families. We can support with counselling, housing, education and employment. We run weekly coffee mornings in our local community hubs as a place for veterans to come together.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This summer 2026, I’m running the Kent Coastline. This is my latest fundraising challenge for the Veterans Association. This unique journey will commence on Saturday 25th July 2026. The planned route consists of approximately 300+ KM, with the aim of completing by the end of August 2026.

The Veterans Association provides support for our nations veterans and families. The charity focus is to build hope, honour service and change lives. Our veterans are the backbone and true heroes of our nation serving on the frontline. I’m extremely proud to be supporting the Veterans Association.

Their HUBs are a great way for the Veteran community and their families to come together and socialise with other veterans. The staff and volunteers of these hubs provide various activities and welfare support for members of their local communities. All Café hubs are a safe, warm and welcoming environment.

They also assist veterans and their families by offering support with physical and mental health, employment, housing and can signpost and offer counselling services for PTSD, loss of limbs or any issues that a Veteran may face either from their service or from their return to Civvy street.

The following donations would make a significant contribution towards:

£10 – could help feed a homeless veteran for a day.

£25 – could help give a homeless veteran a room for the night and an evening meal.

£50 – could provide a veteran with a specialised 1-2-1 PTSD counselling session.

£100 – could provide a veteran with the opportunity to attend a PTSD outdoor activity.

£250 – could help give a homeless veteran a room and meals for a whole week and provide support for PTSD, mental health and wellbeing.

Every penny counts no matter how much, it will make a huge difference towards supporting our veterans, the backbone of our nation. Additionally, maintaining café hubs will provide a safe, warm and welcoming environment for pensioners and the elderly within their local communities.

Please share this page with your family and friends. Your support is greatly appreciated and valued. For more information, please follow my journey via my social media platforms on Instagram and Strava.
