Thanks to all of your generous donations, we have greatly exceeded our donations target! We are now closed for donations for our Laps4Money event, so any donations given from this point onward will not contribute to laps around Eccleston Square, but will still go to a great cause in supporting Dementia UK. Living with dementia can be overwhelming — not just for the person diagnosed, but for their family and friends too. Every day brings new challenges, and carers often find themselves isolated, exhausted, and pushed to their limits.

That’s why we're raising money for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity. Their incredible Admiral Nurses provide life-changing support to families affected by dementia — offering expert advice, a listening ear, and practical help when it’s needed most.

Dementia is different for everyone, and Dementia UK understands that. Whether through their Helpline, clinics, or community services, they make sure no one has to face dementia alone. They also provide specialist nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, provide life-changing advice and support, to anyone affected by dementia, whenever it is needed.

As team Kentech-y Fried Charity, we are organising two bake sales to raise money for Dementia UK. In addition we will be taking separate donations for our Laps-for-money initiative, whereby for each £3 donated we will complete 1 lap of Eccleston Square in Pimlico, London. The total sum raised by our team is being generously matched by our company, Kent PLC, so every donation big or small will make a significant difference.
