I am walking 135 miles from Winchester to Canterbury (The Pilgrims Way) over the course of ten days, to commemorate my brilliant and brave Grandson, Otis Zev Matti.

Otis sadly passed away on the 6th May of this year, but thanks to the Evelina Children's hospital, we were given four incredibly special months with him that we otherwise would not have had. He was only 7 weeks old when he was admitted, so there were members of our family who met him in hospital for the very first time. Those memories will stay with us forever, and we cannot thank Evelina enough for gifting them to us.

I will be (attempting) to show a token of my appreciation by walking The Pilgrims Way from the 10th August. I might be an old codger at 73, but if I can muster even a fraction of Otis' strength and bravery, then I know I can do it.
