Kent Young Farmers are raising money for Pancreatic Cancer UK through running a charity rugby tournament on the 8-10th May 2026 — This cause is close to many of our hearts and several of us have been personally affected by this illness — seeing first-hand how it changes lives and families forever. Sadly, these experiences are shared by so many people beyond our own community.

One of those affected is our women’s captain Scarlett Worrow. In her own words Scarlett explains why this charity is so important:

“I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer when I was 17. It happened very suddenly, and like many families affected by this disease, we had little warning and little time to prepare. The impact it had on my life and my family is something I carry with me every day. We are fundraising to support vital work to improve early diagnosis, fund research, and provide support to others going through similar experiences.
