School Fundraising Project for the African Adventures Foundation

African Adventures Foundation provides support to 20 schools in deprived areas of Ghana, Kenya and Zanzibar, in order to give 22,000 children more equal access to education. We support with infrastructure, equipment, food security, and health and hygiene.

Story

A group of 22 students and staff from Southampton Education School at the University of Southampton visited Nakuru, Kenya in March 2023. They volunteered at 3 schools; The Walk, Ungara and Mercy NJeri. Overwhelmed by the kindness and friendship of so many who have so little they set about to make a difference. By raising 1 million Kenyan Shillings or £6000, these schools would be able to carry out significant infrastructure projects as well as the much needed purchase of books, IT resources and science equipment. At the most basic level, it will allow the African Adventures Foundation to continue to provide the kids at these schools a meal every day.

Every penny raised goes to the 3 schools. Thank you for your support.
