Keren's fundraiser for Meningitis Research Foundation

London Marathon 2026 · 26 April 2026 · Start fundraising for this event
I am running the 2026 London Marathon because I want to help Meningitis Research Foundation achieve their goal of a world free from meningitis.
In the summer of 2007, at the age of 18, I was unexpectedly diagnosed with meningitis. My condition deteriorated rapidly, resulting in an induced coma on life support. I am deeply grateful to my mum for recognising the symptoms early on and to the exceptional team at the UCL Hospital for Tropical Diseases for their life saving care. In April 2026, I will have the privilege of running the London Marathon to raise funds for Meningitis Now, the UK's leading meningitis charity dedicated to providing support, funding research, and raising awareness. I invite you to join me in supporting this critical cause by making a donation to my fundraising page. Your contribution will make a real difference in the lives of those affected by meningitis.
