We will be fundraising for Calpe House. Their main purpose is to provide accommodation in London for residents of Gibraltar who are sent to London Hospitals but they do so much more than just that.

Like a lot of people, we always knew Calpe House was there when needed, but didn’t ever fully appreciate the work done there & the importance of it.

In May 2022 I underwent major surgery at the Royal Marsden & stayed in Calpe house for just over a month.

The staff were so supportive, caring & offered practical & emotional support for both myself & Jeremy. Furthermore, the facilities available, and seeing “friendly faces and [hearing] familiar voices” made the whole journey manageable.

It truly was our “home away from home” and we want to give back as much as possible to show our appreciation & support back to an amazing place.

And it is for that reason we will be running a half-marathon!
