I'm swimming 5k this September to save babies lives.

I'm challenging myself to swim 5000 metres this September to raise money for Sands. Your sponsorship will support research into saving lives and ensure bereaved families get the care and support they deserve.

We lost our baby boy Luca this year and our family has been supported by Sands. We received a memory box that has been of great comfort to Luca’s siblings. They both cuddle the teddy they were given by sands every night. It was the same teddy that was given to Luca and it helps them feel close to their brother. The memory box costs £20 to give to each family. It really means so much to our family. I have also spoken to people at Sands when things have been particularly difficult. Not everyone has a support network like I’ve had and many bereaved parents turn to sands.
