Back in June I got diagnosed with APL which is a rare form of leukemia. It started with bleeding gums and fatigue which I put down to chemo which I had finished 14 months previously for breast cancer, however I then started getting really bad bruises for no reason on my legs and arms which lead me to get blood tests done, since then it has been stays in hospital, biopsies, chemo and a lot of other medication, I am currently 12 weeks in with many more to go.

In the past decade blood cancers have become more common in all age groups then before and although treatments are better there is still a lot of research needed.

Due to this me and my husband have decided to walk 100 miles in 30 days starting 20th September .
