Story
In loving memory of my beautiful mumma, Tracey Parmiter, we kindly request a donation to the Dementia Sings Out Choir, in lieu flowers for her funeral service. This is such a wonderful cause doing wonderful things for a wonderful community.
Tracey was a founder member of the Dementia Sings Out Choir when it first started back in July 2019. Joining every Thursday morning with her lovely Personal Assistant Lorna and more recently on Zoom at her Care Home to sing, dance and simply forget about Alzheimer's dementia and enjoy life!
Singing brought so much joy to my mum for so many year's, even before her diagnosis. It's so very powerful for those neuro pathways. Tracey is proof of that.
Tracey sang every single day and that is with so much gratitude to this joyous community choir, the amazing organisers, volunteers, carers, family members, all the little ones that come along to join in the fun and MOST importantly those living with dementia.
My mum, Tracey, even has a couple of claims to fame thanks to DSO. She was interviewed on ITV Anglia news for the first ever DSO Choir Christmas party in 2019! As well as being a prominent face, and of course singing her heart out with the infamous Gareth, on the DSO promotional poster.
Supporting this cause will help the DSO Choir to continue to offer this weekly session to members and their carers for free for many more months and hopefully years to come!
Thank you to all of the DSO Family, especially Lorna, Ruth, Gareth, Gary, Sheila and Lucy for all of the memories (and many tears). Always welcoming us all and never letting us feel alone 💓💓💓
Keep singing everyone 💖
