I am excited to share my journey as I prepare for "The Big Charity Abseil" at Roe Valley Park, Limavady, on September 13, 2025. This event is not just a thrilling experience; it is a vital opportunity to support Air Ambulance NI, an organization that plays a crucial role in our community.

Every day, the dedicated team at Air Ambulance NI works tirelessly in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service to provide life-saving care to those in urgent need. Their Helicopter Emergency Medical Service operates seven days a week, reaching anywhere in Northern Ireland within approximately twenty-five minutes. This rapid response can mean the difference between life and death for patients facing serious medical emergencies or traumatic incidents.

As I prepare to take on this challenge, I am reminded of the countless lives that have been saved thanks to the swift actions of the Air Ambulance team. They respond to an average of two calls each day, whether it’s due to a road traffic collision, a workplace accident, or a medical crisis. The impact of their work is profound and far-reaching.
