Are you brave enough to abseil down the side of King’s Mill Hospital to raise money for a good cause?

On Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd November the Sherwood Forest Hospitals Charity are hosting an abseil event to raise money to help fund schemes which will improve the lives of our patients, staff and visitors. You can find out more about the work of the charity on the charity webpage.

The abseil event will be raising funds for Sherwood Forest Hospitals General Fund - which can be used for projects right across Sherwood Forest Hospitals.

The charity has teamed up with Big Bang Experiences - a UK leader in height-based activities for over 30 years – to give you the chance to take a leap of faith and abseil down six storeys of King’s Mill Hospital.

I will be taking part in the charity abseil down Kingsmill hospital on Saturday 22nd November to help raise money for the hospital, I am doing this as a personal challenge to myself and as a thank you to many staff for the care, support & treatment I have so far received on what has been, and still is a difficult journey, very recently I have had a lot of care from the hospital and I’m currently very fortunate to be able to do this (I’ve also always wanted to do an abseil, so to couple this with raising money for this charity is a win win as well as another tick for the bucket list too!)

Any donation or share would be greatly appreciated, it’s going to a good cause, and it will hopefully help anyone that needs any care, treatment and support, so the hospital can continue to invest in much needed equipment and whatever they need to be able to care for patients!
