I am embarking on an incredible journey to conquer a part of the Great Wall of China with a dedicated team, all in support of St Michael's Hospice Hereford. This trek, scheduled for 31st October 2026, is not just a personal challenge; it is an opportunity to raise vital funds for a cause that provides compassionate care to those in need.

While I am self-funding this adventure, my goal is to raise £1,500 for the hospice. The trek is rated as moderate to challenging, featuring steep uphill and downhill sections that will test our endurance. Each day we will carry a daypack weighing 8kg, and although the distances may seem short, the hilly terrain means it can take us 6-7 hours to trek just 5km. The ascent and descent each day range from 515m to 866m, making this not only a physical challenge but also a testament to our commitment.
