In July 2025, I’ll be tackling the Gower Peninsula Mighty Hike with my amazing team, Forward Together, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

When a dear friend asked me to take part, I jumped at the chance. How could I say no to someone who has faced the dreaded ‘C’, overcome so many challenges, and still manages to inspire everyone around them. They hold such a special place in my heart.

Sadly, cancer has touched the lives of many of my friends and family - far too many. That’s why this hike means more to me than just covering the miles… that’s the easy part 😉

It’s a way to honour those we’ve lost, stand beside those still fighting, and raise money for a cause that really makes a difference.

I’ve pledged to raise £250 - enough to fund a Macmillan Nurse for a day, providing people living with cancer and their families with essential medical, emotional, and practical support.

There are currently over 3 million people living with cancer in the UK. Macmillan’s mission is to be there for every one of them - and with your help, we can walk forward together to make that happen.
