A team at MDL are taking part in the Mighty Stride Kiltwalk in Aberdeen on the 2nd June 2024. The Mighty Stride is a 17.8 mile walk! We have decided to raise money for the Archie Foundation. Information on the charity can be found below:

"Making the Difference’ for close to 100,000 patients every year, the ARCHIE Foundation provides all of the extras that allow an enhanced level of care for local children.

We provide key staff posts such as the ARCHIE Specialist Nurse, the ARCHIE Play Leader and the ARCHIE Family Support Worker.

We buy life changing medical equipment and fund specialist training to ensure the local healthcare teams can always provide the most up-to-date and high quality care.

We buy toys, books and computer games, run art workshops and provide musical concerts in the hospital – often at the bedside of children who are too sick to come to our communal play areas."
