We welcome babies, children and adults, for affordable HBOT. Breathing 100% oxygen under pressure allows not only haemaglobin but blood plasma to absorb oxygen. This then diffuses across tissues & so increases oxygenation throughout the body, thus reduces inflammation & increases speed of healing.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Richard and I are running Manchester Marathon on 19th April 2026 in memory of Mat Greenwell.

I have known Mat for almost 30 years as he was my best friends husband, also dad to William and foster carer to several children since 2008.

Mat loved his family and friends, holidays, his dog, cycling and being outdoors.

Mat was a very determined type of guy. He completed the London Landmarks Half Marathon in April 2025 despite only having been on 2 training runs! I couldn’t help but laugh when we met him at the train station in London to give him a lift home, when he could hardly walk! Mat was so determined to finish it, as he was raising money for the foster agency charity CANW.

A Breath for Life gave Mat the ability to use the oxygen chambers twice a week - which with his daily routine of natural and herbal remedies, absolutely 100% prolonged the time Mat had with his family and friends, as the type of cancer he had was very rare and untreatable.

It is an honour for Richard and I to run the Manchester Marathon in Mat’s memory. He really was an absolute gem, and will be truly missed by all 💙

As we have now passed the initial target of £1,000 we have increased this to £1,101 representing Mat’s birthday of 11 January.
