Archery Challenge

Woking & Sam Beare Hospice is a charity that delivers specialist palliative care to adult patients of all ages who have life-limiting and terminal illnesses in the North West Surrey region, providing free of charge holistic care and support services both in our hospice and in homes.

Story

When I did my school camp, last year, I realised that I really enjoyed archery. I saved up my pocket money so I could buy myself a bow and arrow set and when I asked my mum if I could try and shoot an orange off her head, she said yes!

We thought it would be a fun way to raise money for Woking & Sam Beare Hospice, so I have set myself the challenge to shoot oranges off of the heads of five members of staff from the Hospice in five minutes.

My mum works there and is always telling me about the challenges people do to raise money for them so I'm really excited to do one myself and hope it raises lots of money for them. I've said that I'll do the challenge once I've raised £200 so I would really appreciate any donation you can give no matter how big or small.
