So, most of you know me for my love for cycling and inability to say no to raise money for my favourite charity Garden House Hospice Care

So when I was asked would I run the London landmark Half Marathon 13.1 miles for them I couldn't and wouldn't say no.

In my teens and 20's running was my thing. I haven't ran this distance since 2014 ( before kids and surgery). I can run a bit but due to my dodgy hips from birth, missing and few organs and my chronic bowel disease diagnosis in 2017 meant running was left in the past. Due to this I have an absorption problem which means I'm always tired and lack a lot of vitamins despite the amount of goodness I eat.

This disease has ruled my life and activities for 7 years but I wont let it stop me completing this. BAM will not define me!

Enough of my sob story....So here I am in training with 5 weeks to go and surprising doing alright actually, all things considered. I'm hoping to run it in the time I have set my mind too and raise some funds for my favorite place that helps people and families in their last hours of need.
