Jump for Freedom with The Salvation Army!
Campaign by The Salvation Army (RCN 214779 and in Scotland SC009359)
Freefalling from 10,000ft, the Jump for Freedom skydive tests your personal limits while raising vital funds for The Salvation Army's modern slavery support services (or your chosen project).

Story

Kerry Gwyer was and remains to be the most beautiful soul. She was an avid Christian, was the life of any party, and probably the nicest person you could have met.

Kerry sadly passed away in January 2025, but her legacy lives on. If we could all be a bit more like Kerry, the world would be a better place.

In tribute to this beautiful soul, Kerry's son, and friend Scott are embarking on a skydive to raise funds for The Salvation Army. This charity in particular was one which Kerry held dear.

The skydive itself will take place on 21st or 27th June 2025 (date to be confirmed) but if changed an update will be provided.

The family hopes to raise as much as possible for this worthy cause.

The Salvation Army is a Christian Church & registered Charity working in 130 countries worldwide and is one of the largest and most diverse providers of social welfare in the world. In the UK and Republic of Ireland this work includes more than 800 Salvation Army social service centres and community churches. We provide unconditional friendship, support and very practical help to people in crisis and need and work with children, homeless people, all adult victims of modern slavery and those dealing with drug and/or alcohol addiction.
