Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick. We rely on donations to fund our work but with one baby admitted to neonatal care every five minutes we don’t have the resources to reach every baby who needs us. Your donation can help Bliss ensure every baby gets the best care.

Story

1 in every 7 babies born in the UK will need specialist care.

Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick. They rely on donations to fund their work, and without our help they won't be able to reach the 90,000 babies needing neonatal care each year.

Your donation to my page will help Bliss to drive improvements in neonatal care, to ensure that the needs of babies are at the heart of policy and planning for the future, and to provide information and support to all families with a baby born premature or sick.

In 2013, our world changed forever when we lost our beautiful angel baby, Kiaya-Leigh. No parent should ever have to say goodbye to their child, and the heartbreak, grief, and emptiness that followed are something that never truly leave you. You don’t move on from a loss like that—you simply learn to carry it every single day.

During the darkest time of our lives, we discovered just how important the support of baby loss charities is. They provide comfort, guidance, and a safe place for families when everything else feels impossible.

This is why my daughter, Sky-Elouise, and I have chosen to run together in memory of our beautiful Kiaya-Leigh. Every mile we run will be for her. Every step will be taken with love. Every donation will help another family receive the support they desperately need during the worst time of their lives.

Kiaya-Leigh may not be here for us to hold, but she is forever in our hearts, forever loved, and never forgotten. She is the reason we’re doing this.

If you can spare anything at all, no matter how small, or simply share our fundraiser, it would mean more than words could ever express.

Run for Kiaya-Leigh. Run with love. Run with hope.
