My daughter Kiki felt helpless upon receiving my recent breast cancer diagnosis. A few days later she decided she wanted to host a fundraising event for our family and friends to come together on one day to raise as much money as we can for this special charity.

Kiki and my other daughter Lulu are working together with a few of my close friends and family to share the load of all planning for such a big event. I am feeling extremely loved and very supported.

I am lucky and I will fight this and remain positive. And for all of you who know me well will be pleased to know that I will be giving up my love for wine (plus sugar) throughout my whole treatment to ensure my body will fight this!
