Story
St John’s Hospice has been part of the local community for over 38 years and provides vital service to patients and families all over our community. Our aim is to ensure that on the journey towards the end of life, we provide the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
Our care will always be free to those who need it, but it isn’t cost free. It costs nearly £400 per hour to run the hospice with only around a third of this amount provided by local NHS funding. The remaining two thirds must be raised through events, community donations, grants and legacies.
The Company i work for choose a new charity every year to raise money for and with St Johns Hospice being local and close too many peoples hearts i thought i would help by jumping out of a plane instead of the usual running, walking, swimming.
I have a target of £400.00 to raise by September to be able to complete the sky jump so if you could help me achieve this i would be really appreciative.
