Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having recently received my first state pension payment and become a grandfather I thought I should mark both those occasions with a challenge. Not entirely sure yet whether it will be my last big one, but it could well be. Everything hurts!

So I’m off to Easter Island for a 50K Ultra on May 11th.

I’m also intending to complete around 70K of additional distance on the island in the days preceding and following the main event.

So I was wondering if you might be kind enough to sponsor me again?

Once again I’m going to do this to raise much needed funds for the wonderful Prader-Willi Syndrome Association UK who continue to support and inspire our family's attempts to deliver the best possible care for our now nearly 16 year old foster daughter. They really do deserve every penny you're prepared to donate.

Prader-Willi Syndrome is a chromosome disorder which causes a wide range of physical, mental and emotional symptoms. Its defining characteristic is a constant feeling of hunger which can never be satisfied no matter how much the sufferer consumes.

Thank you as always,

Kerry
