Three Peak Challenge in 24 hours · 11 May 2024

We stop men dying by suicide. Since opening in 2018, we’ve helped more than 5,100 suicidal men access free, life-saving therapy at our centres in Liverpool, London and Newcastle. 75% of deaths by suicide are men, but suicides are preventable. Donate today to help save lives.

Story

On Saturday 11th May 2024, I will be undertaking the challenge of climbing the UK's three tallest mountains in the space of 24 hours, to help raise money for a hugely important charity that I have been involved with since its inception - James' Place.

As well as this personal challenge, I am hoping to raise funds and awareness for this charity - one that was setup by my dear friend, Clare Milford Haven, following the tragic death of her son James.

In the UK suicide is the single leading cause of death in men under 50, all of which should never occur and could certainly be avoided with the right help, support and guidance.

Clare & her team at James' Place believe that no man should face a suicidal crisis alone. James' Place offers free, professional non-clinical therapy for men in suicidal crisis - to help them find hope for the future and to help them try and find another way and another solution, to the challenges that they face.

See Clare's story below of how she tragically came to address this serious issue and please share what you can, to help support this cause...

Thank you so much in advance,

Kerry x

James Wentworth-Stanley
